DTA MISSION STATEMENT

DTA Sports college exposure teams will strive to be the premier program for players desiring to develop and showcase their skills & abilities.  Our goal is to get each of our players to the "next level", whether that is college or professional ball.

Our teams will be competitive at the highest levels of play through superior skill development, effort and teamwork and our teams will play the game in a “team-first” atmosphere, providing support for each teammate/player.

Our coaches and staff will stride to be a positive influence on the personal development of all our program members, and help to develop not only talented ballplayers but talented young men and women.  We will also work to be an invaluable resource for parents and players seeking information and advice on the recruiting and draft process and use our network of professional scouts, college coaches and former players to provide program members a valuable resource.

DTA COACHES

DTA's baseball teams will be coached by former professional players, college players or current college coaches.

DTA welcomes the coaching experience of Benedictine University's assistant baseball coaches Lou Simios and Ed Ziefert, as well as former Louisana Tech player and assistant coach at Wheaton Academy Rick Dzingel and former Valpo pitcher Nick Mazzone who is coaching at Wheaton North HS.  Additional coaches that will work with players during winter training include current professional organization player Bobby Stevens (infielders), former minor league player Ryan Anetsberger (infielders/hitting), current minor league coach RC Lichenstein (pitchers), former college All-American Alex Fernandez (catchers) and former college players Joel Pelland and Andy Schultz and Tom Ciombor.
